Tuition and Financial Aid

One annual fee covers the whole Meridian school year: live online learning, mentoring and all four residential sessions in Europe. Need-based financial aid is available, because admission should depend on the student, not on the family’s income.

Tuition 2026–27

What tuition includes:

  • Full academic program. All subjects, research and interdisciplinary projects.
  • Live online teaching. Daily classes in small groups with experienced teachers.
  • Mentoring and advising. A personal mentor and regular goal-setting conversations.
  • University and college guidance. Support with next steps after Meridian.
  • Four residential sessions. Accommodation, meals, programming, supervision and field trips during each session in Hochrindl, Austria.
  • Student support. Counseling and psychology support.
  • Learning platforms. Access to all school systems and learning materials.
  • Community life. School-wide events and activities throughout the year.

Financial aid

We believe an excellent education should be open to curious, motivated students from a wide range of backgrounds. As a nonprofit, Meridian is building a scholarship fund through philanthropy and community support to make this possible.

  • Need-based financial aid is available for families who would not otherwise be able to attend.
  • Aid requests are reviewed separately from admissions decisions.
  • Financial circumstances never influence whether we think Meridian is the right fit for a student.

How financial aid works

  1. Apply for admission. Start with a conversation with our admissions team. You can mention financial aid at any point.
  2. Admissions decision. We decide on fit from conversations and previous school records. There are no entrance exams.
  3. Financial aid review. After admission is confirmed, we review your aid request separately and in confidence.
  4. Your aid offer. We share how tuition would be divided between your family and Meridian’s aid program.

What could financial aid look like?

Every family’s situation is different. Here are a few examples of how tuition might be shared between a family and Meridian’s financial aid program.
